HISTORY of the name
The name "PortoNapoleone". We were inspired by history.
On 22nd December 1812, Napoleon Bonaparte, by Imperial decree, united the two quartes of San Giacomo di Corte and Santa Margherita under the name of Porto Napoleone, thereby ending their continual rivality.
This new area developed into one of most picturesque and charming localities in the world, which later, under the reign of the House of Sabaudo (1863), was given the official name of :
